Lily loves her exersaucer. She radiates smiliness, bubbliness, and joyfulness whenever she is in it. She loves to stand, which gets exhausting when we are holding her. Her exersaucer is the best solution. She is able to interact more with Bayli and Chase. She loves when they come down and play with her. Obviously she loves her hands as well. I don't blame her, they are very yummy looking. We love our happy baby!

snow babies
Sunday, we woke to a wonderful winter wonderland. Approximately 13 inches worth. The kiddos were super excited to go out and "help" dad dig us out of the beautiful white stuff.
Chase was a little intimidated by just how much snow there was. He stuck to the sidewalks and beaten down paths that Bayli made. He was pretty worried when mom stuck him in a huge pile.
"Oh no, mommy, mommy!"
Bayli, on the other hand, plunged straight in. She began her efforts to make a fort.
She is such a pretty snow angel.
Chase began to warm up to the snow a bit. Especially when mom showed him how to make and throw a snowball.
He didn't care for his cumbersome mittens though. They thwarted his efforts to effectively make and throw that perfect snowball.
Welcome winter. We look forward to more snow fun. We can't wait to hit the hills with our sleds!
first meal
November 23rd marked a big day around here.
Lily started to eat cereal.
Yeah, she still doesn't know quite what to think of it.
Bayli and Chase are definitely more excited about it than she is.

cow tongue
Bayli to Jed:
Will my tongue keep growing?
Yes
Will I be able to reach the top of my head?
No, probably not.
(Moment of deep thought)
Maybe just my forehead.Wednesday, November 17, 2010
baby chucky
My sweet mom (aka Grandma Carol) has been making cute little hats for Lily. She will admit that this new found hobby hasn't been without its ups and downs.
She finds that a pattern is too small or too big after she gets done. Yet, she proceeds to invest the time into making one that fits just right.
She has bought numerous amounts of yarn with all kinds of ideas being thrown around in her head.
One such specimen was so furry and soft with such vibrant colors, we knew it would have to be cute. Her first attempt was a bit small, giving the look of a little wig.
I present: baby Chucky!
It was seriously the funniest thing ever.
We were laughing at sweet little Lily. And she was smiling back so hard, making us laugh more.
Causing her to smile more, leading us into hysterics.

Poor little thing, getting laughed at like that.
At least we know that she can take a joke.
Cutest little Chucky EVER!

witch face
While I was making breakfast, Bayli was rambling off what she wanted to be NEXT year for Halloween.
She wants to be witch. She was describing what kind of costume she would like and the accessories that she will need to go with it.
Suddenly I hear:
"Mom, I need one of those things that they have on their face. You know, like on their nose or cheek. A NIPPLE!"
After laughing inside, I quickly corrected her with "you mean a wart?"
"Yeah, that's it, a wart!"

a punch for your hard work
[Late post]
Super cutie Bayli has been working hard to get her ears pierced. It is the award she chose for eliminating thumb sucking.
I am so glad that I wanted to let her decide to get her ears pierced rather than me make the decision for her. I want my kiddos to be able to decide if they want holes punched in their bodies.
We headed to Claire's for the event. Once there, she started to get a little bit nervous and almost talked herself out of it. Plus, she couldn't make a decision on what piercers to pick. She finally decided on the rainbow flowers.
Then she was all, "let's do this!" The job was shortly followed by tiny whimpers and a few tears. Quickly replaced with, "how do they look? Are they the most beautiful ears you have ever seen?!!!"
I find it cute that she is wearing a Utes badge and she has crazy head-band hair. I love my little cutie!
